Dual Language Speech Competition ​(Academic Club)

The competition featured speeches on “How are legal rights evolving in the era of digital privacy?” (English) and “आधुनिक समाजमा फौजदारी सजायको दृष्टिकोण” (Nepali).

The participants were required to deliver their speech on the two topics allotted by the organizers, and the speakers were not allowed to use electronic devices or take the help of any medium while delivering their speech. The speakers were provided each with 5 minutes to deliver their speech with an additional 30 seconds at the discretion of the judges.

The competition was held in the glass house of the law building, Dhulikhel. It started at 1:40 p.m. and ended at exactly 3:30 p.m. The speech competition was inaugurated by the three judges. The winners were provided with exciting cash prizes. The best speakers were rewarded with Rs. 2500/-, and the first runner-ups were awarded with prize money of Rs. 1500/-, including tax payment, as well as a certificate for a certificate for the second runner-up in both categories. The judges accepted the token of appreciation from the coordinator of the Academic Club.

The judges for the event were Mr. Shiva Kumar Giri, Mrs. Padma Rijal and Ms. Akanchya Regmi.
Our objectives for the program were as follows and they were successfully met as well.
