Socio-Economic Club

The Socio-Economic Club of Kathmandu University School of Law is dedicated to fostering imaginative and socially conscious students by encouraging them to express their ideas through various socio-economic activities. Our club conducts a range of impactful programs, including awareness campaigns, financial literacy sessions, blood donation drives, and plantation initiatives. We believe that the socio-economic capabilities inherent in our students should be nurtured and developed, providing them with a platform to enhance their analytical and creative skills. Through these diverse activities, the club aims to cultivate a deeper understanding of socio-economic issues and inspire proactive engagement among the students.

Event summary

As a preliminary step of this tenure, the Socio-Economic Club successfully conducted a tree plantation program and a blood donation drive, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability and community welfare.

The tree plantation program was organized with the goal of enhancing the campus environment and promoting ecological awareness among students. Participants enthusiastically planted numerous trees, contributing to a greener and more sustainable campus.

The blood donation drive, held shortly after, saw significant participation from both students and faculty. This initiative not only helped local blood banks replenish their supplies but also raised awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.

Both events were meticulously organized and managed, with strong support from the club’s members and the broader school community, showcasing the club’s dedication to fostering a socially responsible and engaged student body.
